MARSHALL BANK 2018 CHARDONAY
Brookfields Estate 'Marshall Bank' Chardonnay
Generous stone-fruit flavours, nicely supported by fine grained oak, toasty coconut
notes and an enriched complex mid palate define this 2018 ‘Marshall Bank’ Chardonnay. The partial malolactic fermentation has broadened the mid palate and added to its complexity and elegance resulting in a long finish. Even in its youth it is very approachable, but development will evolve and reward with time.
WELCOME TO OUR BLOG
Well the wine touring season started with a few hiccups weather-wise pre Christmas but the weather has come right and were recording 30 celsius most days. Were looking on track for an early vintage and if this weather pattern holds a cracking vintage to boot.
The group today met Ra the wonder dog and fell in love with his big brown eyes. Ra has a real talent for working the crowd and quite often ends up with a cracker or two. Naughty dog. Thanks to all the guys in the photo they were an amazing bunch from Australia, Holland and New Zealand. Cheers
