Our luxury wine tour in Hawke’s Bay is designed for those serious about wine that are looking for a more intimate experience of the region’s wineries. Wine education, regional history, and knowledge of the finest restaurant food in the region are all a part of our service.


Taste classic red varieties such as Syrah/Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Pinot Noir. Hawke's Bay vintners are also renowned for such white varieties as Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Viognier and Semillon generally found in Noble dessert wines. Depending on availability, you may also taste port style wine, and even a dessert red or two

Your Day of Wine Tasting

Your tour begins with pickup from your accommodation in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle. First stop is Brookfields for a tasting with the Robertson family, including their iconic Gold Label Bordeaux-style blend. Next is Church Road for Classic Tom wines and award-winning Grand Reserves, followed by lunch if this is your lunch stop.

We then continue along the Tukituki river valley, one of the most scenic vineyard drives in New Zealand, often compared to Tuscany. At Craggy Range you taste the Prestige series with views of Te Mata Peak. After lunch we drive to the top of Te Mata Peak (399 metres) for 360-degree views of the Heretaunga Plains. The last winery is yours to choose, so we can shape the day around what you like.
